Underage drinking is a problem across all of Europe, but Scotland is among the highest in all of Europe. This infographic explores the amounts being consumed by Scottish teens in comparison to the rest of Europe and the increasingly worrying consequences of these behaviours.

Within this infographic, there is a particular focus on the drinking behaviours of 13 and 15-year-olds. The Scottish government found a particularly worrying rise among these age groups.

But there has been a change in alcohol policy within Scotland over the last 18 years and this infographic also lays out these changes and the impact underage drinking can have on their bodies.
